This is an interesting problem to point out and I’ve noticed in listening to the genre that I’m simply running out of new artists to discover. Just like rap now in the US is starting to see an insurgence of amazing women talent, I’d really love to see more women afrobeats artists as I think this genre is largely dominated by male stars.
