One of the best interactions in a written piece that I have read. Wow!!! Joey, thanks for this piece. Asa sound pretty interesting, she gave this piece a life, I have followed her since Asa (the album, 2007), but your piece explained the Asa I never knew. Thanks, awaiting part two.

I didn't think it was possible for me to love Asa more than I already do but your article has made that happen, thank you for this.

Thank you for this brilliant piece Joey, you write and interview so beautifully, it flows so well for the reader. May I plead that you consider a public health angle in your writing? It's a fragile war battling the tobacco epidemic on this side.

'Studies have been conducted around the world that show smoking images have impressions on youth initiation into smoking. Images of music stars and actors are flickers that register on their minds, so it is important that we are careful what they see and hear... [young people] who see role models are influenced' They can be three times as likely to try smoking or become smokers.

It is one's decision to smoke, I know, but the resultant aggregate health burdens on a country's fragile health system and labour can be destructive (Europe's epidemic is an example and it is sad that the tobacco industry is now waging war and trying to take the markets to Africa). I thank you for your consideration and wish you amazing creative journey.
